THE accusation that Vice-Ganda is hard to work with is not new anymore.
Producers give in to his demands because he brings in money.
And in business, this is all that counts.
Defenders of Vice has this to say: “People with creative minds like Vice are often misunderstood. Kung nakikialam man si Vice, it is all for the best intentions at dapat irespeto.”
Host Ellen Degeneres always ends her show with an advice, “Please love one another.”
Would this be a hard thing to do for Vice?
SHARON, Kasama Mo, Kapatid goes on air starting May 7 which happens to be the birthday of her aunt Helen Gamboa. A co-production of Sharon and TV5, it is a talk show the megastar has been dreaming of doing.
She says: “I survived the highs and lows of my life because of the unwavering support I get from the public through the years. It is time to give back to the people whom I owe all my successes. This show is about real stories from real lives. It celebrates triumphs and inspirations. This will be my legacy.”
Sharon said they have taped 15 episodes already and they found it hard which one to show as the pilot episode. “Modesty aside, lahat kasi ay magaganda.”
She cried when asked whether she has patched up things with her auntie Helen. “We haven’t talked yet but I regularly communicate with my cousin Ciara. Mahal na mahal ko ang Tita Helen kahit may tampo sa akin.”
COMMENTS MAKE CHEF BOY LOGRO STRIVE HARDER
NEVER in his wildest dreams did Kusina Master’s Chef Boy Logro think of joining showbusiness and do some acting stuff. “Kahit noong nag-aapply ako bilang isang cook for abroad eh nagdaan ako sa butas ng karayom dahil hindi po ako qualified. Elementary lang po ang natapos ko,” he said at the presscon of Tweets for My Sweet.
Not everyone appreciates his acting job but Pablo “Boy” Logro is not complaining. “Salamat sa paghamak at lalo akong napapansin at nakikilala,” he admits.
How is it working with Marian Rivera who plays his grandchild in GMA’s dramedy?
“Napakabait niya at napuna kong mahilig siya sa salad. Dahil dito I prepared a special salad for her na walang vinegar.”
The cast of Tweets for My Sweet also include young stars Elmo Magalona and Barbie Forteza.
