Contrary to rumors, Liezl looks healthy!

WE bumped into Agot Isidro and elder sister Olive, whom we earlier encountered sa Medical City in Ortigas, at the birthday party of talent manager Shirley Kuan at Angel’s Kitchen in Greenhills.
Olive told us she was at the hospital for a possible operation. Kung anuman ang sakit niya, we no longer asked her to elaborate.
In our case, we had our skin allergy treated by Dr. Bernadette Ortiz-Policarpio, expert in diseases of the skin, hair, nails and cosmetic dermatology.
In any case, ang laki ng iginanda ni Agot with her ear-length hairdo. She also looks younger.
Did she have herself enhanced by (we whispered to her the name of a medical beauty expert)?
Nakatawa, sagot ni Agot: “Hindi, ah, clean living lang. My new look is not acquired.”
Well, again, bulong namin kay Agot: “May new love ka ba naman?”
It’s common knowledge na medyo matagal-tagal na rin silang separated ng kanyang husband na si Manu Sandejas, now a TV5 weatherman.
They are childless.
Lalong natawa, pinili ni Agot na ’wag sagutin ang aming last tanong.

Agot has long been a talent ni Shirley just like Albert Martinez, who was not present but was aptly represented by wife Liezl.
Liezl, currently a member of the MTRCB (Movie Television Review and Classification Board), is also looking good and pretty.
Not at all na parang may sakit as she’s been bruited about.
Liezl and Albert’s eldest daughter, Alyanna, now a stylist to celebrities, lives independently, so we heard.
The couple’s only son, Alfonso, is a college graduate from the De La Salle University.
Only their youngest, Alissa, is still in school.
On Saturday, March 10, Albert will start taping for his new series, Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw, with Kris Aquino and Anne Curtis as leading ladies.
Also featured is child actress Xyriel Manabat under the direction of Malou Sevilla.

Today ang alis ni Aga Muhlach for Rome, Italy, para mag-explore ng yet ‘unexplored’ things for TV5’s Pinoy Explorer.
He is expected home, hopefully, evening of March 13 or morning of March 14.
Aga will be hosting the PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Movies, set for March 14 at the Meralco Theater.
He is also a best actor nominee in this year’s Star Awards for his performance in In the Name of Love produced by Star Cinema.
Angel Locsin, his leading lady in the movie, is nominated naman for best actress.
Asked if he feels he would win the best actor award, Aga replied: “Siguro naman, every nominee hopes to win in whatever category na na-nominate siya. But for me, winning an award is a bonus, a blessing.
“Nonetheless, the idea alone that you are nominated is enough na dapat nang ipagpasalamat. And I do thank the PMPC and the other award-giving bodies na nagno-nominate sa akin in a category they feel na nag-excel ako last year.”
Aga said na-impress siya when he learned that this year’s Oscar best actress winner Meryl Streep (for The Iron Lady) has been nominated in the same category 17 times by the same award-giving body.
In all those 17 years, nag-a-attend si Meryl ng Oscars… without fail.
Yet, do you know na ang best actress trophy na kanyang natanggap from the 6,000-member academy is just her third?
Well, if that is not professionalism, we don’t know what is.
